Dear Prayer Partner,
Christmas Blessings
The Christmas season is always busy for us here in Japan. It is one time of the year that the Japanese are more likely to attend church. This year, each of our three Christmas services was blessed with many attending. We had a total of 12 visitors. Pray for God to continue working in the hearts of all the visitors who attended.
More Outreach
We are trying some new ways of outreach. Last year we had a concert and a BBQ. This year we are adding a Craft Club as a means of outreach. Japanese often have a hard time even darkening the door of a church. We are praying these new ways of outreach will help get them in the door so they can see our love (and God’s love) for them. Pray that many more Japanese will come and find God’s wonderful love.
NT Survey Class
I just finished another year of teaching New Testament Survey at Japan Baptist Bible College. It is always a joy to see eyes and hearts opened to God’s precious Word. Pray for these students as they continue their studies. Pray that God will greatly use them to reach many more Japanese with the gospel.
Upcoming Camps
At the end of March, 10 of our young people will be attending Junior Camp. Later in May, there is another camp for college and career age young people. We are praying that the Lord will bless both of these camps and that our young people will respond to God’s leading in their lives.
