Back in Japan
Thank you so much for praying for Cindy’s parents—they are doing so much better, and we are truly grateful for their improvement. We began our return trip back to Japan on March 6 and, after several flight delays, arrived on March 8. It was a real blessing to be back home again and to once again preach in Japanese at Agape.
Easter Blessings
God graciously blessed us again this year with a good number attending our Easter services. It was exciting to focus on the reality and hope of Jesus’ resurrection and what it means for those who trust Christ as their Savior. We had a joy-filled day of celebration and remembrance. Please pray that God will continue to use us to help many more Japanese people come to know Christ.
Mike’s Surgery
In our last letter, we asked you to pray for Mike’s atrial fibrillation. On April 8, he underwent ablation surgery. The doctors estimate about an 80% chance of success. So far, things are going well, but it will take about six months to know the full results. We would truly appreciate your continued prayers for complete healing.
40 Years in Japan
We first arrived in Japan on April 2, 1986, and this year marks 40 years of ministry in Japan. Our sending church, Hillview Baptist Church, kindly sent a video with encouraging words about our ministry, along with a special gift and flowers to commemorate this milestone. We were deeply touched and encouraged by their thoughtfulness.

We are so thankful that God has enabled us to serve Him in Japan for these 40 years. We are truly grateful for each of you—for your faithful prayers and generous support. These years are truly a testimony to God’s faithfulness and to yours as well. Thank you again for your prayers and support.
