Our Fall Evangelistic Meeting
We held our Fall Evangelistic Meeting during the last weekend of September. Our theme this year was “My Best Friend” (referring to Jesus, a friend of sinners). Pastor Kamiyama, who pastors Makuhari Bible Baptist Church (where we worked until 2003), was our guest speaker. We thank the Lord for the 8 lost (including 4 first-time visitors) who attended these services. Please pray that God’s Word will take root and bear fruit in the hearts of those who attended.
An Internet Blessing
Recently, we were thrilled to meet a young man who was saved through listening to audio messages posted on both the Joetsu and Agape web sites. We are so thankful that God used these web sites to help deliver the wonderful gospel message to this lost college student. Please pray for many more to visit our web sites and come to know Christ as their Savior.
A Sunday School Workshop
We held a Sunday School Workshop for believers from our work and Utanomori Bible Baptist Church (150 miles from us). We were thrilled to see Sunday School teachers with a real burden to reach and train children for the Lord. Please pray for God to bless our children’s outreach ministry.
65,000 New Tracts
A new shipment of 65,000 tracts is on its way! We are excited about the opportunity to once again tell the people of Nagaoka about our wonderful Savior. Pray for strength as we personally deliver these tracts to each home. Please pray that God will work in the hearts of those who read them. Pray also that God will continue to supply the funds for this vitally important outreach.
