Dear Prayer Partner,
We Still Need More Space
As we’ve mentioned before, we are consistently averaging 40 plus in our services. This is a tight squeeze for our current meeting space (900 sq. ft.). We are thankful for this problem, but it is hampering our growth and keeping us from expanding the ministries of Agape Bible Baptist Church. In our last several prayer letters, we’ve asked you to pray with us about this need. Meanwhile, we have been actively looking for a new building. So far, we have considered several buildings, but none of them have worked out.
A New Building to Bid On
Last Friday, while Cindy was out walking and praying, she found an amazing piece of property for sale. This property includes 2 buildings and plenty of parking. This property used to be housing for government employees and is being sold by the Japanese national government for $200,000 (US dollars). Of course, it will require some repairs and remodeling, but this is still an amazing price. On April 5th (the 4th in the US), we will be bidding on this property. If there are multiple bidders, the winning bid will be chosen by lottery.

Please pray for God’s will to be done in all of this. We are excited about the possibilities this property would provide our ministry in Nagaoka. While we are excited, we are praying for God to lead and provide according to His will. Of course, we don’t want this building, if it is not God’s will for us. Please join us and the people of Agape as we pray for God’s will to be done in this matter.
