2 Teenagers Baptized
In August, God blessed us with two 7 graders (Aoyuki and Hiromi) who followed the Lord in believer’s baptism. We thank the Lord for His leading in their lives. Please pray for these 2 teenagers to keep on following the Lord.
Ongoing Building Project
Thank you for praying for us and our ongoing building project. The back apartment building has been demolished. We are currently working on making the open space into a grassy park. We are still in the process of replacing our emergency exit staircase. Another big project is fixing and expanding our parking lot. All of this is expensive, but God continues to supply our needs. Please pray for continued wisdom and finances as we move forward with our building project.
A New Online Bible Study
In October, we started a new online Bible study. It is based on Firm Foundations: From Creation to Christ. This study is designed to help lost people see God’s wonderful plan to redeem us thru Christ. It can also help strengthen believers’ faith in God’s amazing plan. We are doing this study together with Brother Will Hill and the church he is starting in Niigata City. If you have Japanese friends who would like to view these studies, please feel free to contact us. Pray with us that God will bless this online outreach. Pray that believers will be strengthened and that lost Japanese will see their need for Christ.
Challenging Times
Despite Covid-19, most of the believers at Agape continue to faithfully attend services. But these are challenging times. I’m sure you sense this too. We pray that God will bless you and give you wisdom as you continue to serve Him there. Thank you for praying for us as we serve the Lord here. Pray that we may be found faithful.
